Eye tumours

The Eye is the most complex organ in the body.

It comprises of many different types of tissue like bone, muscle, skin nerves and even endocrine glands. Tumours can arise from any structure within the orbit. Often they may cause mass effects with swelling of the orbit contents and protrusion of the eye or as lumps on the eyelid skin. Sometimes they may present as double vision, decreased vision or even tearing.
